The Puerto Rico Manatee Conservation Center (PRMCC) and the Caribbean Stranding Network at the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico announce the availability of four two-month (unpaid) volunteer placements for three terms per year. The PRMMC undertakes conservation efforts on behalf of endangered West Indies manatees in four ways: (1) rescue and stranding efforts, (2) rehabilitation and veterinary care, (3) population research, and (4) outreach and education.

Opening hours are usually Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. 5:00 pm to 5:00 pm, although longer days may be needed for field work.
